VETERANS UNITED FOR TRUTH
Because of the importance of the May 2011 court decision handed down by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Chapter 0049 has decided to include the monthly bulletins of the veteran organization, "Veterans United For Truth, Inc., to our web site. This is the first case that I am aware of that has held that the VA is violating "constitutional" rights of veterans when it force them to wait weeks for critical mental health care and years for disability benefits.
While the case is a long way from becoming constitutional law, it has the strong possibility of totally re-vamping the VA benefits processing systems.
Secondly, I am adding the monthly editions (back editions) from March 2011 up through July 2011 to apprise you of what this organization is about. For your perusal and edification, see the information below.

Chapter 0049 attempts to publish a monthly chapter bulletin that highlights the accomplishments of the current month. There are months, like June or August (conventions/vacation months) or December /January (vacation/holiday months) when there is no staff to document the chapter’s work. These are referred to as “…the dark periods….” However, we try to catch up with events in the succeeding months.

4. June Bulletin for MOAA of Camp Pendleton. This is MOAA 's (Military Officers Association of America) Monthly Bulletin produced by its Pendleton Chapter. The reason for the inclusion is that Chapter 0049 appeared before it membership and gave a speech on the Purple Heart Medal. The meeting was held on July 10, 2010 at the Hungry Hunter Restaurant in Carlsbad, CA.
